VOYAGE PART TWO

March 10, 2012

COMMUNICATION ESTABLISHED;

My satellite web link is up, so here is the next chapter in the launch of the Exodus Aerospace inner space rolling design and fabrication lab:

Reality involves creating a living space, an office, a workshop, and a business entity.  The first steps include repairs to a five year old trailer which was not equipped for full time living.  Life will bring challenges as the plumbing backs up and my dog meets a pit bull that does not play well with others.  Murphy is a law that will challenge every voyage.

The vehicle needs equipment for towing and I need to develop my living space.  I begin renovation of the forward section as it is nearly reay for life support now.  Boxes fill the “garage” section of the toy hauler and sleeping uses the built in bunks.  These are cool to see unfolding, but cruel to sleep on.  A futon is quickly found to replace them.

Living on board quickly outlines where storage is needed, and where it will fit.  Under bed storage boxes and plastic garage cabinets offer lightweight solutions.  Filing cabinets are joined by a birch plywood desktop.  A neighbor provided a $25 table saw for super clean cuts on hardwoods and plastic desk coverings.

CRITICAL STORAGE MODIFICATIONS

AFT AREA DESIGNED AS STORAGE FOR MOTORCYCLES CONVERTS TO SLEEP AND DINING AREA…BUT THOSE BEDS ARE NOT AS NEAT TO SLEEP ON AS TO WATCH THEM UNFOLD.

FOLDING TABLE SERVES AS OFFICE AND DINING UNTIL PERMANENT FACILITIES ARRIVE.

NEW PLACES BRING NEW SIGHTS:  APACHE JUNCTION ARIZONA…OR MARS ROVER VIEWS?
